Blistex New hypo-allergenic Blistex Simple and Sensitive
We all know and love Blistex lip balms; they really do the job of actually treating dry and chapped lips and during these winter months that’s all we are asking for! The latest from them is the Simple and Sensitive balm that is completely free of sensitising agents such as flavourants, fragrances or colourants, this straight forward, no-fuss lip balm contains just six, carefully selected pure ingredients. It retails at R45 and is great for those who want a straight forward balm that will cause no irritations whatsoever.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Lip Repair Balm

I also reviewed this a while ago, and have since fallen even more in love with it. It is full of goodness and great for a night time treatment. I love it as a base for lipstick too; it ensures hydrated, plump lips.

Piz Buin Sun Lipstick
I rave about this non-stop. It's probably getting boring now, so I won;t harp on too much. If you looking for a uni-sex balm that is a fabulous all-rounder then this is it! Buy it here for R42.

By Terry Baume de Rose
This is a old favourite and such a treat. It smells incredible but costs a small fortune (R550).

  1. Last week I ditched my Zam-Buk - just not doing the job any longer! Trying Kiehl's now, but I see it's basically Vaseline, with nicer packaging ;) Let's see how it goes.

Nimue also has an excellent lip balm, beautiful silver tube and a subtle, delicious smell. Think you'll love it.

Blistex reminds me of school days - good ol' DCT. Keen to try this one you've featured here! And of course 8 Hour Cream is possibly on every single human being's top 10 products.

    1. Ya, don't lurve the Kiehl's one unfortunately. Piz Buin still my best. Tried the Nimue one, it is really nice - on a par with the Elizabeth Arden 8 hr in a silver lipstick tube that I like so much too. Try Piz Buin's, I go through the stuff so quickly and only R48

    1. No, not that I know of. One of all time fave brands but so expensive! By Terry, Laura Mercier and NARS need to come here NOW :)
