The Beauty Factory: Originals range

Tuesday, 25 June 2013

The Beauty Factory has some really nice, clean products that they sent me the other day. ‘Clean’ sounds like a strange word to use, but that’s the first thing that came to mind – I loved the simple packaging and the to-the-point products instructions and ingredients.

The one’s I received were from their ‘Originals’ range which has just launched. The two that stuck out to me were the Hand and Nail Cream and the Hand Mask (never tried something like that before).

Originals Hand & Nail Cream
This one costs R49 and is great for dry hands and cuticles. It has a very slight scent but nothing that would clash with your perfume (thank goodness). It’s not greasy and absorbs well too. I must say I don’t ever think a hand cream has got me that excited so there’s nothing ground-breaking here, but all-in-all a great one to pop in your handbag and comes at a good price too. Shop online here.

Originals Hand Mask
This was my favourite as I loved the idea of a 1 minute hand mask with a scrub in it. I have always loved Crabtree and Evelyn’s Gardeners hands treatment, and this is the more affordable version (with less of a scent). It’s a thick, clay-like product that you can massage into your hands and rinse off. It left my hands feeling smooth and soft, but quite dry – so be sure to lather on the Hand and Nail Cream afterwards. This goes for R49 too and can be bought online or in the Beauty Factory store.
