Things I love

Thursday, 1 November 2012

Continuing on my new series every Thursday, here are a few things that I am loving this week...

My new Deborah Lipmann nail varnish
I have had my eye on this for a while now and finally ordered off Ebay. You can see it over my Gelish in the below photo. It has nice chunky gold pieces in the polish and lasts beautifully. RRP is around R170.

Me in the Fairlady mag
As you most probably know (as I've not shut up about it) I was voted Best Beauty Blogger in SA in the Fairlady Best of Beauty Awards. What an honour! It was also a little surprise to see myself in their November issue.
Stila are in South Africa
One of my all time favourite make up brands have arrived in South Africa. As I mentioned on Twitter and Instagram; Stila really do know how to do make up - think luxury, quality and every 'it' product you could hope for. I got spoilt with these amazing eye palette with 12 eye colours including Kitten, their best seller. Loving playing around and experimenting with this. More to come...
Roses in my home
This is such a small thing but something I insist on in my home and it really does make all the difference to my mood and to the general feel of my home. I have also started buying a bunch for my bathroom - no one ever thinks of this room and I spend all my time doing my skincare routine and make up in here so might as well pretty it up too!
Inglot's new O2M Breathable Nail Enamel range
Inglot have bought out a bunch of new nail colours and they are ah-mazing! My favourite is this pretty coral which is number 659. It goes on amazingly and this pic was taken after 3 days wear! I just adore this brand, if you haven't visiting their store yet, what are you waiting for?!?
The new one's I got - adore these!
Tropitone self-tan
I actually used to use this self-tan in my school days when I didn’t know the whole ‘less is more’ thing and used to end up streaky and orange – urgh! I recently tried this again and absolutely love it – the colour is awesome, it goes on so well, I don’t have one streak and it’s really affordable. A really top self-tan formula!
