Yardley's Supermoist Lipstick's

Wednesday, 14 March 2012

To end off another busy week, I received a package from Yardley with a bunch of their latest additions/improvements to the range.

I actually haven't used Yardley's products previous to this, so was interested to see what they would be like. Naturally the products that stood out to me were the lipsticks - I absolutely love lipsticks and their new colour range ticked quite a few of the colour choice boxes that I am on the look out for. Think corals, baby pinks and deep reds.

The range below is the Supermoist range (silver packaging) and the Colour Rush range (red packaging). Both ranges went on the lips well and certainly didn't feel like they were drying out the lips at all. The Supermoist colours were more up my alley (see second picture), although that's not to say that the formula of the Colour Rush was any less satisfactory - just personal choice in colour.
Supermoist - front row; Colour Rush - back row

Supermoist - favourites are Melon Burst, Peach Perfect and High Tea

The Supermoist lipsticks have been around a while, but Yardely have recently improved their formula - resulting in a  creamier, softer, smoother and more lustrous lipstick that acts as a lip treatment too. The really impressive part for me was the fact that the lipsticks have an spf 20. The lips are often neglected when it comes to sun protection so this is definitely an added bonus to wearing a gorgeous lip colour.

The products are available as of this month and you can find them as selected Edgars, Foschini, Pick n Pay, Dischem and Clicks stores. RRP is R64.95.

  1. bought the scarlet flame from that range, a little bit daring for me i must say. I'm also not entirely sure whether it compliments my skin tone, but i definitely do want to try something red.
